About the Event

FOR DISTRICT LICENSING COMMITTEE (DLC)MEMBERS AND SUPPORT STAFF.

This program is designed to prepare participants with the essential knowledge and insights required to navigate the Sale and Supply of Alcohol (Community Participation) Amendment Act 2023, which will come into effect on 31 May 2024.

Program Outline:

Purpose: Gain a thorough understanding of the main impacts and changes in legislation, along with the implications these changes entail for your roles within your respective agencies.

Program Details: The training sessions will be conducted online.  The program consists of four sessions, each two hours, long.

Registration Process: You only need to register once for a program, simplifying the process for your convenience.  If you are unable to attend all sessions within one program, we encourage you to register for both series to ensure comprehensive coverage.  Registration is straightforward and can be completed online.

Expert Presenters: Benefit from the invaluable expertise of senior alcohol licensing solicitors in New Zealand, including Karyn South, Alastair Sherrif, and Mark Zarifeh. With their extensive experience and deep understanding of the legal landscape, they are well-equipped to guide you through the complexities of alcohol licensing matters.

Cost: These workshops are completely free to attend funding provided by Health Promotion - Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora.

The training sessions will be delivered online via Zoom - four x two-hour sessions. You are only required to register once for a program.

If you cannot attend all sessions within one program, we encourage you to register for both and attend all sessions across both programs.
