About the Event
A comprehensive training program for those involved in alcohol licensing and hearings, such as Licensing Inspectors, Police Alcohol Harm Prevention Officers, Medical Officers of Health - their delegates and other licensing staff. This program is designed to prepare participants with the essential knowledge and insights required to navigate the Sale and Supply of Alcohol (Community Participation) Amendment Act 2023, which will come into effect on 31 May 2024.
Program Outline:
- Purpose: Gain a thorough understanding of the main impacts and changes in legislation, along with the implications these changes entail for your roles within your respective agencies.
- Program Details: The training sessions will be conducted online. Each series consists of four sessions, each two hours, long.
- Registration Process: You only need to register once for a programme, simplifying the process for your convenience. If you are unable to attend all sessions within one program, we encourage you to register for both series to ensure comprehensive coverage. Registration is straightforward and can be completed online.

The training sessions will be delivered online via Zoom. There are four x two-hour sessions. You register once for the four modules in the program.
If you can't make it to all sessions in one program, we suggest you register for the initial event and its repeat. This way, you can choose the modules that best fit your schedule and ensure you attend all sessions in the program.
