About the Event

In this session we consider the harm that alcohol can cause generally, directly or indirectly to a community and what steps  DLC’s need to take to minimise harm.

Presented by Karyn South a partner at Raymond Donnelly & Co, Office of the Crown Solicitor for Christchurch.

Karyn is a regulatory and criminal prosecutor who frequently conducts complex trials in the District and High Courts relating to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

District Licensing Committees (DLC's) exercise an important role in their communities. These workshops provide an opportunity to up-skill in a supportive environment and to share and learn with peers and colleagues.

Webinars are free and we encourage all DLC members, DLC secretaries and hearing staff to attend.

Please note, this webinar:

  • is not relevant or appropriate for Licensing Inspectors
